The standard we work to
This site has been designed with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the technical standard referenced by Israeli accessibility regulations (IS 5568) and by accessibility law in the European Union.
What has been done
- Pages use semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, so their content can be navigated and understood by assistive technology.
- Meaningful images are provided with descriptive alternative text wherever appropriate; purely decorative images are marked so that screen readers skip them.
- The site is designed to be operated by keyboard, and a clearly visible outline marks whichever link or button currently has focus.
- Text and background colour combinations have been checked against the required contrast ratios.
- Expandable sections, such as the questions on the What We Do page, announce whether they are open or closed.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects that: the moving background video is replaced by a still image, animated graphics hold a single frame, and content is shown in place rather than revealed by movement.
- The site is responsive and remains usable when text is enlarged or the browser window is narrow.
Known limitations
Accessibility is something we keep working on rather than finish. If you meet a page, control, or piece of content on this site that you cannot use, we would like to know — a report from you is the fastest way for us to find and fix it.
