ORIGINATE DEVELOP OPERATE

01 — Originate

We identify the opportunity.
On both sides.

One side: a site wasting energy inside infrastructure it already runs. The other: equipment already proven and running at commercial scale.

We're technology-agnostic, with direct relationships across every major provider — so the site determines the equipment, not the other way around.

Originate

02 — Develop

Full project execution. No capital required from the asset owner.

Once we've identified a viable match, we take the project through everything required to reach operation: technology selection, technical assessment, permitting, offtake contracts, and financing.

This is the stage where most potential projects stall: permitting takes time, financing requires relationships, and contracts must be negotiated across multiple parties. We own that process, and carry it through financial close and into construction.

Develop

03 — Operate

We hold the asset for the life of the project.

We take full responsibility for its performance, maintenance, and revenue. The host infrastructure keeps running exactly as before; the equipment operates alongside it as an independently managed asset.

Operate

One development model,
applied across recoverable energy streams.

For Asset Owners & Operators

No. The equipment runs in parallel to your existing systems, which stay fully in place and in control at all times — we're not replacing or bypassing anything safety-critical. If a fault occurs anywhere in the recovery unit, it's designed to fail safe automatically, routing everything back through your existing setup without manual intervention.
We finance, build, and own the equipment ourselves — structuring the capital so you don't have to invest or take on project risk. In return, you receive an ongoing return for hosting the project, structured around the specifics of your site.
No. We carry out the initial site assessment at no cost and with no commitment on your side — so you can find out whether your site is a fit before any decision is made.
It's commercially proven, with live installations already in operation. We don't deploy early-stage equipment — every technology we bring to a site is already running at scale elsewhere before we propose it for yours.
We do. Inroad holds ownership for the life of the project and is responsible for its operation, maintenance, and performance. You continue to own and run your core infrastructure exactly as you do today — our equipment sits alongside it as a separate, independently managed asset.
The power produced can be sold to the grid, used directly by the infrastructure owner, or sold to a third-party consumer — the right structure depends on the specific site and market. We design the monetization path as part of project development, so it fits your situation rather than forcing one fixed model.
Minimal. We lead the technical assessment, permitting, financing, and construction ourselves. Your team's involvement is largely limited to initial site access and information during assessment, and light coordination during installation.

For Technology Companies

Market access and project execution in regions where you don't have an established local presence. We identify qualifying sites, manage local relationships, permitting, and financing, and develop each project through to operation — this isn't lead generation, it's a development partner who gets your technology installed and generating revenue.
Every project starts with a technical assessment specific to that site and your technology — our process is built around matching the right technology to the right conditions, not forcing a standard deployment everywhere. And because we hold a long-term stake in every project, our involvement doesn't end at installation — we're managing the asset for its operating life, which keeps us invested in your technology performing well long after commissioning.
Terms vary by opportunity — contact us and we will propose a structure specific to your case.
